We have handled many animal removal jobs throughout Lake Oswego, but the most common problem we have found is mole damage in the yard or garden. This damage can grow very quickly if the moles are not removed. Mole damage can happen almost anytime of the year in Oregon, but most common is in the spring and summer. We are able to remove not only moles, but gopher and voles as well.

Mole Control in L.O.

There are different methods for removing moles, gophers, and voles, but we have found by far that trapping is the best solution. We have solved many problems using our this program. We areLake Oswego mole trapping professionals, this it what we do for a living and are very efficient at it. We can normally clean up a yard in under a month, but each job is very different and can depend on the activity of the moles. This is what makes controlling these problems so frustrating because moles are wild animals and are unpredictable.

When moles are in the garden or flowerbed area it can be more difficult to get. This is due to the fact that the soil is so soft that the tunnels can collapse and the moles can so easily make new tunnels. We have different traps for theses, but the best thing is to find the main tunnels that are usually deeper in the harder ground.

Cost of Mole Removal

The cost of mole control in Oregon has many variables. For example how large the property is, the amount of damage, location of job site. We always offer estimates over the phone at 503-201-2432 or you can contact us by email. There are a few things you need to take into consideration before hiring a professional mole trapper, first the cheapest prices usually reflect the quality of service. We have been hired to come in and clean up mole jobs after other companies many times. It can save you money to pay a little more for a quality company the first time. The next thing is similar, but it is important to make sure the company is a real company that has been doing this for a while. This can be done with references and it also ensures the company has properly licensing and insurance.  For more information about our services feel free to call or check out our mole and gopher removal page.

Signs of Beaver Damage

The most obvious and commonly recognized sign in beaver stick. They stick out because they are very white and have had all the bark chewed off by the beavers. If left uncontrolled in an area long enough they can fall very large trees. Once the trees are down the beaver will chew off the branches, eat the bark, then us the sticks to help dam up the water. They build these amazing dams to back up water creating more aquatic environment which they feel safer in.

The dam can also be a dead give away that you have a beaver problem and can sometimes help identify how long they have been there along with how many are present. These dams can cause the most damage because if the water is backed up high enough it destroy property. It is always a good idea to have the dams properly removed which will also make the area less appealing for other beavers looking for a home.

Beaver slides are the best way to see how active the beaver are at a certain location. This is what we use to find were they are moving or working at. It is very important to be able to identify these locations when trying to remove beaver. We have years of experience removing beaver in Portland, Oregon. Being able to remove beaver can be a long process and should only be done by someone with professional experience to ensure nothing goes wrong.

Raccoon's can be found all over Oregon, from high in the mountains to out in the desert areas. This is due to the fact that they are such smart animals and very good scavengers/hunters. They are able to adapt to any area and location, they have done this extremely well around humans. The main problem that people encounter with raccoon's is when they leave food in the garbage or pet food out for easy picking. The next problem is raccoon's moving into houses, either under the house or in the attic.

Raccoon's Living in Attic

Raccoon's are very good climbers and frequently get on peoples roofs and if your house is not properly sealed they could find a way into your attic. Once inside they can cause a lot of damage and in most causes they will have babies which can create a big mess. Along with creating a dangerous scenario with an aggressive mother raccoon. It is important to try and remove raccoon's from your attic as soon as you notice you have a problem. This will increase the chances of you getting htem out before they have babies. The job can become a lot more difficult if there are babies, but we are able to handle those job's too. There are many different methods to remove the raccoon's but we always try to use the most stress free for both the people and raccoon's. Once the raccoon's are removed it is important to find out how they were getting into the attic, such as an open vent or chewed hole.

Raccoon's Living Under a House

If you hear scratching or other noises under your house. mostly likely there are animals living under your house. There are two main areas the raccoon's can gain access under a house; first is through an open vent screen, second is through an unsecured crawl space access door. These can both be fixed with not too much difficulty, but you do not want to seal the raccoon's inside. This can create a risk for both the raccoon's and people living in the house. If it is a mother raccoon that is separated from its babies you will have a very aggressive mother. That can cause a lot of damage trying to get back under the house, but it can also cause the babies to die under you house which is not good for anyone. That is why it is very important to have professionals inspect the problem and find a proper solution to avoid these damages.

Also many people do not realize that rodents can attract many other critters to there house. So we always recommend a properrodent control plan to prevent attracting other critters. We are able to set up around a house to remove current mice/rat problems then protect the perimeter from future problems.
