Portland Bat's in Attic Removal

Professional Portland Bat Removal call 503-201-2432 today!

This time of the year we are over run with bat's in the attic or bat's in house calls from people all over Oregon. During this time of the year bat's can have babies in there colony which can make it difficult to remove them until the beginning of September.

This will give the baby bat's enough time to learn how to fly and able to leave the attic. This is important to properly remove bat's from an attic in Portland, Oregon because the bat exclusion process requires bat's to fly.

Bat Exclusion

Bat exclusion is the process of removing bat's from an attic or house and not letting them re enter that area. We always use a live bat removal method to ensure that no bat's are harmed and can continue to help control insect population in that area. To help the bat's transition we also are able to set up bat house close to the area they are being excluded from.

After you have controlled the bat problem in many cases you will be facing a large bat guano or poop problem in your attic or walls. This can be a dangerous risk to homeowner's because it can put off bacteria and other possible risks.

This process is called attic restoration and can involve removing all bat guano, removing damage insulation, and replacing with new insulation.

There are 15 species of bats in Oregon. Bats are the only mammal
that flies. Bats are nocturnal and hunt at night using echolocation.
Echolocation is when they make high-pitched sounds and then they listen for the
echo to find the location of objects or prey, which includes very small
insects. Oregon bats either migrate south for the winter or stay in Oregon and
hibernate until spring comes around.

Mother bats find dry warm places to have their pups in
the spring. Also it is a myth that bats are blind, when in fact they actually
have pretty good eye sight. An adult bat can beat around 1,000 insects per hour
and they only eat insects.  A pup
bat can begin to fly between 2 weeks to 5 weeks of age.

Bats can be beneficial in keeping insect population lower, but
can always spread disease via biting or in there guano. If you have bats in your
house it is important to have a Professional Oregon Wildlife Control Officer
remove the bats and seal off your house.

If you have any Oregon Bat Problems call CCP Wildlife Control LLC
today at 503-201-2432 to safely remove all unwanted bats from your house.
